Traveling can be a real trick. We’ve got to figure out what to take. Often this process can be incredibly overwhelming and we may feel helpless.
I like Bonnie Mincu’s separation between overwhelm and helplessness. She describes them this way. Overwhelm is the brain screaming “too much”. We know how to do everything that we need to do but we just have too much on our plate – there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything. Helplessness is the brain screaming “I need help, I don’t know how, I don’t know where to start”– this is more skill building, learning how. This newsletter is going to help with skill building.
