Clipboard for To Dos

PROBLEM: I can’t keep track of my to dos
and all the paper that is associated with them.

SOLUTION: Clip a blank sheet of paper onto
a clip board and write all your to dos here.
The paper that is associated with the to dos
can be clipped behind the to do sheet.

HINT: If the associated paper is too big to
clip to the clipboard you can write a note
beside the to do telling yourself where the
associated paper is.

A Bin of Calendar Things

PROBLEM: I have these actual things that
I need to remember to give/show to someone
or take somewhere. I can’t remember to do
them! On the rare occasion that I do remember,
I have no idea where I put the item.

SOLUTION: Make a note in your calendar on a
specific day to do the action. Put the item that
is connected to the action in a spot specifically
designed for calendar items. This can be a bin,
box, basket, or shelf.

HINT: This idea works well for actions that are
going to happen well into the future – weeks and
months away.

Roll, Fold, Divide

PROBLEM: I have white crew neck and v-neck t-shirts.
I like to wear them at different times but in my drawer
I can’t keep track of which white t-shirt is which.

SOLUTION: The one kind of t-shirt you can fold and the
other kind of t-shirt you can roll. The rolling of one and
folding of the other makes a natural divider in your drawer.

HINT: You can also use color to form natural dividers. For
example, instead of having all your white bikinis and
hispters in one drawer you can have your white bikinis,
dark bikinis, white hipsters, then dark hipsters in one drawer.
